Why is my fridge not cooling but the freezer is cold?
This is usually an airflow or defrost problem: ice builds up on the evaporator coil and blocks cold air moving from the freezer into the fridge. A faulty evaporator fan, defrost heater or sensor is a common cause. It needs diagnosis rather than a guess, because the symptom looks the same for several different faults.
Is it worth repairing an old fridge?
Often, yes. Many fridge faults, such as a failed fan, thermostat, relay or door seal, are affordable to fix. If the compressor has failed on an older, low-value fridge, replacement can make more sense. We'll give you an honest repair-versus-replace view once we know the fault.
Can you repair a fridge at my home?
Yes. Most fridge repairs are done on site in your home or business. You don't need to transport the fridge.
