What size aircon do I need?
It depends on the room size, ceiling height, windows, sun exposure and how many people use the room. As a rough guide, a small bedroom often suits a 9,000 BTU unit and a larger living area 18,000 to 24,000 BTU, but a quick site assessment gives a far more reliable answer.
Is an inverter aircon worth it?
For rooms used regularly, usually yes. Inverter units adjust their speed instead of switching on and off, so they use less electricity, run quieter and keep a steadier temperature.
Do I need permission to install an aircon in an apartment?
In most sectional title schemes, yes. Body corporate or HOA rules usually control where outdoor units may be placed. Check the rules first. We can then plan an installation that complies with them.
How long does an aircon installation take?
A standard single split-unit install is usually completed in a day. Longer pipe runs, difficult access or multiple units take more time. We'll confirm the timing once we've seen the site.
